Limited Warrantee for Cultured Marble and Granite Products

Riverstone Surfaces extends to the purchaser limited warrantee on cultured marble and granite products (herein called “product”) against defects in material and workmanship, which results in a significantly altered appearance or affects the performance of the product from its intended purpose for five (5) years from the date of purchase.

During this period, Riverstone Surfaces will at its discretion either repair or replace the product with product of similar color and design without charge, but excluding any costs associated with the removal of and or reinstallation of the unit.

This warrantee does not cover defects resulting from:

1. Products or component parts manufactured other than by Riverstone Surfaces; or
2. Products that have been impaired by accident, abuse, improper installation, maintenance, modification or removal from original installation site, or by the use of cleaners containing chlorine, or abrasives; or
3. Cracks, chips, cuts, scratches or breakage not due to workmanship or materials; or
4. Damage from use of smoking products, curling irons, candles, and hot objects such as pots and pans exceeding 140 degrees Fahrenheit; or
5. Cost removal, transportation and reinstallation service to obtain warrantee service shall be paid for by the consumer.
6. Riverstone Surfaces shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages, including cost of installation or water damage, or from damages resulting from abuse or misuse or from failure to install and maintain this product in accordance with these instructions.

Remedies for breach of this warrantee are limited to a) repair or b) replacement, if Riverstone Surfaces elects to replace the product or component, or 3) refund, if the original purchaser is willing to accept refund or if Riverstone Surfaces is unable to provide replacement, and repair is not commercially practicable or cannot be timely made.

Variation in color hues, vein patterns, or vein intensity is a natural effect of cultured marble and granite and is not covered by warrantee.
